So powerful in your technique and impact of the peice it takes my breath away. I love how you use the color of Red to accent the whites, blacks, and blues in this piece. It gives a sense of love and hope within a cold and inhospitable place; whether it be physical or mental. The vastness of the night sky only shows that we, as humans, have so much to learn about the world around us that sometimes things aren't always about us as individuals but about 'us' as a whole. In the end there is so much for us to learn about each other's culture that it shows that there are so much we have hope for. Even when everything seems to be hopelessness and in despair. I found myself beginning to hope within the woman's facial expression and her ability to look up for what will come next because that is what matters; how we react in the next moment of our life.
